AMAG HEAD instructor - PAT DAVIES

Initially starting training in Wu Shu Kwan under Dr Javad Birjandi (deceased), Pat's major martial arts influence has been Rick Young of the Edinburgh Kali and Kickboxing Club and Marc McFann of the Unified Fighting Arts.

Pat is currently an instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto. He is a Full Instructor in Marc McFann's Unified Fighting Arts.

Pat is an instructor in the Thai Boxing Association of the UK whose President is Ajarn Sirachai Sirisute. He is also Chief Instructor(Scotland) in the Phraya Pichai Muay Thai Camp under Kru Bob Spour. He is the UK Director for Pekiti Tirsia International, an Instructor in Ultimate Self Protection, Coach level 3 in Erik Paulson's Combat Submission Wrestling Association and is also authorised to teach BJJ by Rey Diogo.

With upto 30 years experience, Pat has amassed vast experience in what actualy works. He has managed doors and run Nightclub security for over a twelve year period before completeing a degree and working in the Subsea Engineering Industry.

He has fought and trained fighters in a large range of competitions. He has travelled extensively around the world training in martial arts with some of the best Instructors available that are taught at AMAG. The emphasis is on the functionality of the art in a combatitive environment. It was Pat who brought the first JKD, Kali, Thai, and BJJ Instructors to Aberdeen and was the first Proffessional MMA fighter in Aberdeen.
